It's true that an independent school education comes at a cost, but we do our best to work with our families by offering payment plans as well as financial aid to those who qualify.

Transition Learning Support Program 2 - 8	Add a charge of $12,000 to the appropriate tuition. In grades 7 and 8, the charge may be less, based on the number of recommended classes.

A $3,500 non-refundable deposit is due upon enrollment.
Lunch is included in the tuition for all grades.
Textbooks are included in the tuition for pre-kindergarten through sixth grades. For seventh through 12th grades, the costs of textbooks varies based on the student's selected courses and digital versus print format.
Uniforms are available at Mills or our Consignment Shop. A new student can expect to pay approximately $500 for uniforms in the first year.
The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) guidelines mandate that tuition must be paid by a parent, legal guardian, or other family member with the exception of payments coming from need-based financial aid.
After School Care (ASC) at Primary School, Lower School, and Woodward North is $7/hour.
Approximate bus fees for daily, round-trip riders is $2,390 per semester, and for daily one-way riders is $1,610 per semester.

Need-Based Financial Aid

Your family can apply for need-based financial grants for grades K-12. (Woodward does not award merit-based or athletic scholarships.) A family’s degree of need is calculated by Clarity, an independent third party, and our financial aid committee uses this information to determine the amount of the grant. The majority of grants are less than 50% of annual tuition, an average of $10,750. Our admissions and financial aid committees are separate, and every student’s admission acceptance or denial is made without regard for financial need.

A Tuition Refund Plan is available to assist families with the full-year tuition obligation in the event of illness, relocation, or other unanticipated separation from the school.
