Woodward and Habitat for Humanity
The main Habitat fundraiser for 2007-08 was the construction and auction of a full sized playhouse. The proceeds from this fundraiser helped our campus chapter donate over $3,000 to Habitat for Humanity of South Fulton towards the cost of a new home. For the remainder of the school year, Chapter members will be participating in the construction of new homes in East Point under the direction of Habitat for Humanity of South Fulton.
In June 2006 Woodward helped dedicate their first habitat house! The students along with the Parents Club raised $50,000 for the build.
